Role Overview
Weare looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Executive / Manager to joinour Marcom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing thecompany’s social media presence, driving engagement, and enhancing brandawareness across platforms. In addition to social media expertise, the rolerequires skills in designing creatives for posts and managing website updates,ensuring a cohesive digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
• Content Strategy & Planning:
Develop and executesocial media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals of the company.
Planmonthly content calendars and coordinate with internal teams for approvals.
• Content Creation & Design:
Create, schedule, andpublish high-quality content (posts, stories, videos) across platforms such asLinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
Design visually appealingcreatives for social media posts using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, orIllustrator.
Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain aconsistent look and feel.
• Website Management:
Coordinate with relevant teams toregularly update and maintain the company websites, ensuring content iscurrent, relevant, and engaging.
Collaborate with the tech and design teamsfor website enhancements and new page launches.
Optimise website content forSEO and user experience.
• Community Management:
Monitor and engage with audiencecomments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Foster a communityaround the brand by actively participating in discussions and managing onlinereputation.
• Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyse performance metrics(engagement rates, impressions, reach) to measure campaign effectiveness.
Prepareweekly and monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
Work closely withcontent, design, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
• Trend Monitoring & Experimentation:
Stay updated on socialmedia trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
Experiment with newformats, tools, and strategies to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from any stream. Added advantage if from Marketing,Communications, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably inB2B or digital marketing.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools (e.g., Hootsuite,Buffer), and analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights).
· Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, orIllustrator.
· Experience in managing and updating websites (basic knowledge of CMSlike WordPress or similar platforms).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Creative thinking with an eye for design and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.
