Today Google announced that its Google Surveys 360 would be a part of Google Analytics 360 suite. The four-year-old Google Consumer Survey Product will be essentially split into two parts:
- A new version especially for enterprise-level marketers integrated as a part of Analytics 360 suite
- Existing consumer survey tool renamed as Google Consumer Surveys instead of pay-as-you-go and included into the Google Analytics.
Further changes in design and functionality may be rolled later.
The new enterprise-level tool announced is called Google Surveys 360, a part of the Google Analytics 360 suite. The company is highlighting speed as their core selling point. As a part of its announcement, it goes on to explain the way how marketers can create a survey and find the required sample and generate results. This unlike, the traditional method of research will be will be statistically significant and available within a shorter time span. The users will be able to use data from the time it launched the surveys i.e. 2012.
So, what about Google Consumer Surveys?
The pay-as-you-go survey product has been renamed as Google Consumer Surveys, and users can find this as a part of Google Analytics website. One significant feature that they shared was the “crosstab” for all questions. You can check this when you use Google Surveys. There is no accurate timing mentioned as to when these features would be rolled out.
